A new lazy bag

Ten years ago, I had a new sprayhood and a lazy bag made. Now I see they need to be replaced, even though I take the lazy bag off and cover the sprayhood up over the winter. But the cost of having new made has not exactly gone down. There are other sewing projects too that should have been done. So what to do? After some deliberation, and research on the internet, I decided to buy my own sewing machine. (A descision that led to a whole new project on its own, but that’s another story!) Over the winter, I made a new lazy bag, using my heavy duty industrial Dürkopp Adler machine, and the old bag as a template, with some modifications. Great fun! Looking forward to the next phases this coming winter!

I reused the zip.
The mesh is from the old bag. It provides ventilation and drainage.
